We are an American Legion Family working

together to Honor and Support our Veterans and

their Families in our Central California Community.



Our American Legion Fresno Federal 509 Family is made up of Post Legionnaires, Auxiliary Unit, Sons of The American Legion Squadron and Legion Riders Chapter. 

We are a non-profit organization that has an extensive history in Fresno.  As the largest American Legion Post in the central valley, Fresno Federal Post 509 has proudly served our fellow Veterans and their families for almost 80 years.  As well, we take pride in supporting of our Fresno VA Hospital, The California Veteran’s Home Fresno and more.

Fresno Federal Post 509 has been a hub in the Fresno Community for many decades as participants, supporters and sponsors of Veterans events and services throughout the Fresno area, as well as being a popular event venue and Bingo hall.

We welcome all Veterans and their families to join us in supporting those of us in need.
